About Metallic Epoxy Floors

Metallic epoxy floors use suspended metallic pigments to create a three-dimensional, marbled finish that genuinely looks like nothing else. Each install is unique. We trowel and torch each pour by hand to control the swirl pattern, then seal it under a UV-stable polyaspartic for hot-tyre and chemical resistance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes metallic epoxy different?

Suspended metallic pigments create a three-dimensional, marbled effect that genuinely looks like polished stone or liquid metal. Every pour is unique.

Is every metallic floor unique?

Yes — because the pigments swirl during pouring, no two metallic floors are identical. We control the pattern with hand trowels and a propane torch.

Is metallic epoxy slippery?

We can add a non-slip additive on request. Without it, metallic floors are slightly smoother than flake but still safe in normal garage use.

How long does it take?

Metallic installs run 3 days — prep day one, pour day two, top coat day three. Foot traffic 24 hours after the top coat, drive-on after 72 hours.

How much does it cost?

Typical double garages start around $3,200, with two-tone pours and feature areas priced on quote. Free written quotes provided.

Will it fade in sunlight?

We finish every metallic install with a UV-stable polyaspartic top coat to prevent yellowing — critical for garages with northern light or open doors.
