Is solid colour cheaper than flake?

Yes — solid colour is the most affordable epoxy finish because there's no broadcast layer or hand-finishing required. It's still a premium long-term floor.

Will it show every imperfection?

Solid colour shows slab imperfections more than flake. We grind, repair and fill before coating, but if your slab has heavy damage we may recommend flake instead.

Is it slippery?

Solid colour is smoother than flake. We can add a non-slip additive on request — recommended for sloped driveways or wet areas.

How long does it take?

Most solid colour garages are completed in 2 days — prep day one, two coats day two. Drive-on after 72 hours.

Will it fade in sunlight?

We can add a UV-stable polyurethane top coat to prevent yellowing — recommended if your garage gets direct northern sun.

Can you do a custom colour?

Yes — most pigment systems can be tinted to a custom RAL or Dulux colour. Lead time of 1–2 weeks for custom tints.
